Announcing Our Summer 2023 Virtual
Anishinaabe Naadizowin
(Anishinaabe Cultural Camp)
Boozhoo Nwiij-ki-wen-yig (Hello Dear Friends),
We realize that your summer and our Fall may look a little different. Due to physical distancing requirements across the country, we have created a virtual Anishinaabe Naadizowin (Anishinaabe Cultural Camp) options for 2022 instead of in-person camps. Join one of our structured sessions where participants will be introduced to a variety of experiences, including Living in a Anishinaabe Moose Camp, Food Preservation & Traditional Food Knowledge, Anishinaabe Fish Camp, Bushcraft & Anishinaabe Wilderness Skills, Remote Backcountry Travel by ATV/UTV & Wilderness Survival, and Hide Tanning Camp and more.
WE ARE NOW OPEN FOR THE 2022 SEASON
How It Will It Work
We will offer private “live” dynamic online sessions with talented instructors each day supplemented by optional offline activities related to the themes of the day which, will be culturally oriented and local in nature.
Virtual Digwaagi Anishinaabe Naadizowin (Anishinaabe Fall Cultural Camp) will be hosted by local communities and organizations for their families, like they are each summer.

Moving Through The Seasons with Great Lakes Cultural Camps
“We are fortunate to have been a part of a bunch of amazing community experiences over the years and would like to share a glimpse into it. In this video it includes a little bit of our time spent with the Mohawk Nation of Akwesasne, Algonquin Nation, N’Daki Menan in Lake Temagami, Cree Nation of Waskaganish in Eeyou Istchee, Indian Community School in Milwaukee, Teetl’it Gwich’in Nation in the Northwest Territories and several Anishinaabeg communities within the Great Lakes.”
